Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee comprehensive risk management strategies aligned with global industry benchmarks and Ma’aden’s strategic objectives.
• Lead the implementation of advanced risk assessment tools and methodologies to identify, evaluate, and prioritize operational, financial, and compliance-related risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to integrate risk controls into project planning, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct in-depth risk audits and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities in mining and metals operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in risk governance by fostering a culture of accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization.
• Leverage data analytics and predictive modeling to enhance risk forecasting and proactive intervention strategies.
• Represent Ma’aden in external risk forums, ensuring alignment with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and stakeholders on risk management principles, fostering a proactive and resilient organizational mindset.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline, with a strong preference for candidates with advanced certifications (e.g., CRO, FRM, or PMP).
• Proven leadership experience in risk management, with a track record of successfully implementing risk frameworks in high-stakes industrial environments.
• Extensive knowledge of mining, metals, or process industries, with a deep understanding of operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
• Expertise in risk assessment methodologies, including FMEA, HAZOP, and probabilistic risk analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex risk data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence decision-making at all levels.
• Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks and their application in risk management.
• Proficiency in risk management software and data visualization tools.
