You will collaborate across disciplines—Sales, Service, Marketing, and Shared Services—to align priorities, foster customer relationships, and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Your leadership will shape the future of histopathology in Saudi Arabia through:

• Product Strategy and Market Development: Lead the formulation and execution of a localized product strategy for Leica Biosystems’ histopathology portfolio, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives. Drive adoption, market penetration, and expansion initiatives by developing data-driven roadmaps in collaboration with commercial and application teams. Conduct comprehensive market feasibility assessments to identify demand trends, competitive gaps, and untapped opportunities. Translate insights into actionable strategies, sharing intelligence with global teams to inform portfolio investments and prioritization.
• Application Excellence and Team Leadership: Mentor and empower the Application Consultant team, fostering technical proficiency, customer engagement, and histopathology expertise. Ensure seamless product demonstrations, evaluations, and training across the entire workflow—from sample preparation to diagnostic validation. Act as the principal subject matter expert for complex opportunities, scientific discussions, and high-stakes customer engagements. Cultivate enduring partnerships with pathologists and laboratory leaders, resolving technical challenges and advocating for product adoption through collaborative problem-solving.
• Tender Strategy and Project Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end tender response process for high-value opportunities, including NUPCO and major institutional bids. Coordinate cross-functional teams—comprising Tendering, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Legal—to deliver compliant, competitive submissions on time. Develop compelling technical responses and value propositions, ensuring accuracy and completeness in product specifications and supporting documentation. Manage post-tender clarifications and facilitate smooth project handover to execution teams.
• Marketing and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to design and execute localized campaigns, workshops, and scientific events that resonate with Saudi Arabia’s healthcare stakeholders. Align with Sales, Service, and Shared Services to deliver a cohesive customer experience, addressing operational, clinical, and commercial needs. Contribute to broader Danaher initiatives, leveraging insights to strengthen the Diagnostics platform’s impact across the region.
• Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Apply Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies to optimize workflows, standardize processes, and drive operational efficiency. Champion a culture of innovation, ensuring our solutions not only meet but exceed industry standards for quality, reliability, and scalability.
