Key Responsibilities

As the Credit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Credit Policy Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the hotel’s credit policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and company standards.
• Credit Risk Management: Assess and approve credit applications while minimizing exposure to bad debt through rigorous due diligence and risk analysis.
• Accounts Receivable Optimization: Monitor aging accounts, prioritize follow-ups on overdue balances, and drive timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
• Reporting and Compliance: Generate insightful credit and collection reports for senior management, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making while adhering to Hyatt’s policies and local regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to align credit controls with business objectives and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Financial Integrity: Support month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable and maintaining compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in credit management, finance, or accounts receivable. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, or finance, with a preference for hospitality industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of credit control procedures, accounts receivable processes, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve complex billing issues diplomatically.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Experience with hotel financial systems is a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
