Key Responsibilities

You will lead the following critical initiatives:

• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation tracking, and strategic disposal, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain an immutable fixed asset register and conduct periodic audits to validate asset existence, condition, and valuation, guaranteeing full compliance with GAAP and company protocols.
• Strategic Reporting: Develop and analyze detailed reports on asset performance, depreciation trends, and financial impact, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in asset management workflows and implement scalable solutions to enhance accuracy, reduce costs, and improve operational agility.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, procurement, and operational teams to ensure seamless asset tracking, accurate financial recording, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Knowledge Leadership: Train and mentor team members on best practices in fixed asset accounting, fostering a culture of precision and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must bring a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in fixed asset management, accounting, or financial governance, with a proven track record of driving compliance and process excellence.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles, financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP), and proficiency in accounting software and asset management systems.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Communication & Leadership: The ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels, while fostering collaboration across departments.
• Process Improvement: A demonstrated history of optimizing financial workflows, reducing discrepancies, and enhancing operational efficiency.
