We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Treasury & Banking to spearhead our Treasury function within a prominent, well-established organization in Saudi Arabia. In this full-time position based in Riyadh, you will drive the Treasury function with a focus on innovation, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to senior management, you will collaborate closely with the CFO and other stakeholders to ensure robust financial governance, compliance, and digital transformation within the Treasury domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Treasury Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking Treasury strategy, ensuring optimal cash and liquidity management while enhancing working capital efficiency. Lead comprehensive cash-flow forecasting and risk assessment to safeguard financial stability.
• Banking Relationships & Negotiations: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with major Saudi banks and financial institutions, leveraging your expertise to negotiate and manage financing facilities, credit lines, and commercial terms. Oversee the lifecycle of banking agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Trade Finance & Risk Management: Oversee all aspects of trade finance, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), guarantees, and other banking instruments. Implement robust controls and governance frameworks to mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Strategic Advisory & Process Innovation: Provide strategic counsel to the CFO and executive leadership on Treasury-related decisions, capital allocation, and financial risk management. Lead the Treasury team in driving process improvements and embracing digitalization to enhance operational agility.
• Team Development & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and mentor a high-performing Treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align Treasury functions with broader business goals.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Banking, possessing the following qualifications:

• Experience: 10–15+ years in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Banking, with 3–5+ years in a senior leadership role such as Head of Treasury, Treasury Director, or equivalent. Deep expertise in Saudi Arabia’s banking landscape is essential.
• Negotiation & Financial Expertise: A strong background in negotiating banking facilities, credit agreements, and commercial terms. Hands-on knowledge of LCs, LGs, trade finance, credit facilities, and cash management is required.
• Industry Acumen: Extensive experience in large, complex corporate environments, with a focus on financial optimization, risk management, and stakeholder relations.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CTP, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
• Language Skills: Fluent English proficiency is mandatory. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage in this regional role.
