As a key contributor to EY’s Banking and Capital Markets practice, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and industry-specific regulations to guide clients through complex financial transformations. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping modernized operating models, optimizing digital channels, and enhancing data-driven decision-making—ensuring clients remain competitive in an evolving financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of advisory and transformation initiatives, including:

• Strategic Advisory Leadership: Lead and support high-stakes engagements across finance transformation, operating model design, core banking modernization, and technology-enabled change for clients in Banking, Asset Management, and Private Equity. Apply your expertise in due diligence, M&A, and IPO processes to deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including finance, operations, technology, risk, and compliance—to assess current-state challenges and design scalable, future-ready solutions. Develop target operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps that drive efficiency and innovation.
• Transformation Programme Management: Oversee large-scale initiatives, ensuring robust programme governance, PMO setup, and stakeholder alignment. Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking, business readiness assessments, and change adoption strategies to guarantee timely and high-quality delivery.
• Business Development & Client Engagement: Actively contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and boardroom-ready materials. Leverage your commercial acumen to identify client needs, refine scope definitions, and estimate efforts—positioning EY as the trusted partner of choice in the Banking and Capital Markets sector.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, and professional excellence. Ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, traceability, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

To qualify for this impactful role, you must possess:

• 7-10 Years of Relevant Experience: A robust background in top-tier consulting, Big Four advisory, financial services technology, or banking transformation, with a proven track record in delivering high-value engagements.
• Industry-Specific Expertise: Deep familiarity with Asset Management, Private Equity, and Banking sectors, including exposure to retail banking, corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury, capital markets, and related financial products.
• Fund & Technology Acumen: Hands-on experience with fund structures, fund controllership, and asset management technology platforms, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory and operational demands.
• Transformation & M&A Experience: Demonstrated success in leading operating model redesigns, process improvements, and technology integrations within banking and financial services environments.
• Certifications & Education: While not mandatory, professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or relevant industry accreditations) and a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field are highly advantageous.
