We are seeking a Senior Irrigation Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems for major infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, bridges, and landscape developments. This position demands a seasoned professional with a deep expertise in irrigation engineering, construction management, and project delivery to ensure seamless integration of irrigation systems while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will:

• Lead and review irrigation design drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and technical submittals to ensure alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Oversee construction activities to guarantee compliance with approved plans, contract requirements, and quality standards, while mitigating risks and ensuring timely execution.
• Conduct rigorous site inspections to verify the quality and performance of irrigation installations, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Evaluate contractor method statements and testing procedures, ensuring adherence to international standards and local regulations for irrigation systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with civil, landscape, utility, and infrastructure teams to facilitate seamless integration of irrigation networks within broader project frameworks.
• Monitor project progress and provide data-driven technical recommendations to resolve engineering challenges, optimizing system performance and efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, international standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM), and project-specific quality requirements throughout the lifecycle of irrigation infrastructure.
• Participate actively in project meetings, presenting technical insights and contributing to strategic decision-making while preparing comprehensive technical reports and progress updates.
• Support critical phases such as testing, commissioning, and handover of irrigation networks, ensuring systems are operational, efficient, and ready for client acceptance.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a highly accomplished professional with the following credentials and expertise:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by a robust foundation in hydraulic principles and landscape infrastructure.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects, particularly in the GCC region. Experience in major roads, bridges, and landscape developments is highly preferred.
• Extensive expertise in PMC (Project Management Consulting) and construction supervision, demonstrating the ability to manage complex irrigation projects from design to completion.
• Deep technical knowledge of irrigation systems, including hydraulic design, automation, and sustainable water management solutions.
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is a significant advantage, reflecting your commitment to ethical practice and industry leadership.
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills, enabling you to bridge gaps between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders while delivering clear, actionable technical reports.
